A critical part of the development process is the verification and validation of a project by an independent quality assurance (QA) team. The role QA plays in any project ultimately define the success or failure of the end product. At HiQES, we believe it is critical to engage the QA team early in the development process, regardless of the development methodology. This early involvement of the QA team in the project allows the QA team to be in touch with the customer project owners and the development team as soon as possible, resulting in a more coherent and efficient test and debug cycle. The HiQES QA team supports all aspects of your quality assurance plan: requirements verification, source code analysis, build services, test planning, test execution and compatibility/certification testing. HiQES teams follow the CMMI process improvement methodology, forming an essential part of the development and delivery cycle.

Android Compatibility Testing

The Android Open Source Project (AOSP) is the baseline for every Android device in the marketplace. The AOSP defines a suite of compatibility tests which validate the compatibility requirements set for by Google and the Open Handset Alliance (OHA). These tests must all pass before the device can utilize the Android logo or license Google Android services and applications. The HiQES QA team members are experts at navigating this suite of tests, interpreting the results and working with the development team to resolve any issues that arise.

The HiQES Quality Assurance team is available as a stand alone service for our customers as well as an addition to the standard HiQES development service offerings.
